J.D. Roybal (Jose Desiderio Roybal): A well-known Native American artist from the San Ildefonso Pueblo, active from the 1930s to the 1970s. His primary work was in watercolor and clay, often depicting Tewa clowns (Koshares) and dancers. He is less known for silver jewelry, making it rare and desirable.
