Offering is for three vintage Wedgewood Etruria plates. Octagonal. Sized for dessert, salad or sandwiches.
Etruria is a district in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, famous for being the site of Josiah Wedgwood's revolutionary Etruria Works pottery factory, established in 1769. Named after the ancient Italian region of Etruria, it was a model industrial village with canals, worker housing, and the Etruria Hall residence, and today is home to the Etruria Industrial Museum, which preserves the area's rich ceramic heritage.
Each plate features a bold yellow border, thin black outer border, and a gorgeous floral bouquet at the center. Rare. A great add to your vintage plate collection!
Design is from the 1930’s. The plates are a fine porcelain. They do show some crazing, which I actually love. And there is slight bottom wear. vibrant floral design. Yellow border with colorful flowers.
Each plate will be individually and very carefully wrapped to assure safe transit to you. Shipping is within one business day of receiving your mailing information.
I do list on other selling sites. So, if you like these lovely plates as much as I do please do not hesitate to make the purchase or a reasonable offer.
