Hello all you sweet peas! I've had some time to process and I'm now ready to give you all a what's up.
2 weeks ago most of you know we had a destructive house fire. We all made it out unscathed including our pets but we're still looking for 1 cat Pringles who ran outside .
Even though the house is a total loss we are thankful and grateful for our lives and health.

Weebles wobble but they don't fall down! 😂
I lost much of my inventory but am confident the disaster crew will be able to recover much of it. Even if they don't, it's only things. All of it including the house, it's all just things.

We have been living in a hotel and our insurance company is taking excellent care of us! Currently they are searching for a house for us to live in as it will be about a year before we can move back into our home.

@gems_m What a blessing to at least have a timeline of when you can go home! I know what a strain this can be, after I was married I lost my home to a fire. It’s quite devastating. I know you’re always so grateful that you are fine and no one was hurt that sometimes we forget how hard it really is. So happy to hear you and your family are safe. I’d been through the same when I was a kid. It was scary but after losing so much I learned to always appreciate the little things like having a window to close during a storm and a pillow to rest my head on at the end of the day.
