DUNE (1984) Signed 8x10 / SIAN PHILLIPS as the REVEREND MOTHER / “I, Claudius”

Sian Phillips was born in 1933 in Wales and spoke only Welsh for most of her childhood. After learning English from listening to the radio, Sian studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) and has spent most of her career in the theater. She is best known to television viewers for her award-winning role in 1976’s “I, Claudius” and best known to moviegoers as Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohiam in David Lynch’s “Dune”. Sian signed this 8x10 from Dune in black Sharpie.
