Friendly reminder for those looking to buy Canada Goose at a good price. Some sellers list their Canada Weather Gear items as Canada Goose. This is marketing that CWG counts on. They have been sued by Canada Goose. They knock off their styling and offer it at much cheaper prices than Canada Goose. But that is where the similarities end. Canada Weather Gear uses poly fill and faux fur. They don’t use down feathers and real fur, like Canada Goose, therefore they are able to offer better pricing. Side note, Canada Goose is doing away with real fur. It won’t be offered anymore after this year. Please look closely at the tags of the items. Yes, Canada Weather Gear is a legitimate brand, but they are not Canada Goose. And Posh doesn’t help because when a seller starts to fill in the brand on their listing and types, “Canada”, the default is Canada Goose. Canada Weather Gear isn’t an option. Please don’t over pay for cheaper quality. It’s not a bad brand, but do your research. You can get winter parkas for $50-80. Vests on the Canada Weather Gear website are $30. They are often sold at a discount at JCPenney, Burlington, and Zulily.
