Nicky's Bugle by Jane Rietveld, Vintage Juvenile Historical Fiction

This vintage historical fiction picture book tells the tale of Nicky, a young settler in frontier Wisconsin, who desperately wants a bugle and perseveres to get one. Published in 1947 with a hard cover, lithographs, and bugle music, it is in good, readable vintage condition. The cover shows wear on the edges and corners, the pages are starting to yellow, and there is a smudge on the first inside title page.
