@sharoncribbi351 Hello, the dress is faux wrap so it is sewn all the way down and just has an extra piece on top that is open on the one side. The material for the whole thing is 100%polyester. The dress top layer is like chiffon, lightweight and sheer, then it has a full lining that is like a slip ( all attached) . The tops of the straps and the bow are a lightweight satin material that is shiny. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions!
