Beautiful vintage hand-knotted pearl necklace, passed down through my family and estimated to date to the mid-20th century (circa 1940s–1950s).
This necklace features individually hand-tied knots between each pearl, a hallmark of quality pearl jewelry and a method used to protect pearls from wear. The pearls display a soft champagne/cream tone with natural luster, consistent with vintage cultured pearls.
The necklace is finished with a vintage barrel clasp (metal type untested). Stringing appears intact and secure. Pearls show age-appropriate surface wear and variation, consistent with normal use and age of a genuine vintage piece.
This is a classic, elegant strand suitable for everyday wear, bridal styling, or as a timeless heirloom accessory.
