It is not sweater or even sweatshirt material but is made of a 50% Cotton, 50% Polyester blend. It has black ribbed knit edges, two large pockets, double rows of gold tone button that look like metal but are actually plastic, and shoulder pads. The fabric is stiff and feels new so I have not washed it. If you would like it laundered before being shipped, just let me know and I am more than happy to do so. Excellent condition!
