I was just wondering, are these a size 9 and 1/2 - 10? I believe I wear a 39 European style, but with the size chart I'm concerned they're closer to a 10. And I And I am normally an 8 and 1/2, sometimes 9

They are a 9 1/2 closer to 9. I, too am an 8 1/2 somtimes 9, and they fit me beautifully with a high heel gel pad under my feet to make them more comfortable. I just don't have anywhere to wear them since I retired.
