Up for sale is a substantial 487 -gram lot of hallmarked sterling silver. This collection includes three classic serving pieces from three different makers, offering immediate value for both precious metal investors and antique collectors. 1) Sterling silver bread tray, elegant elongated form with scalloped rim, measures 11” x 7.5” x 1.75” & weighs 230 grams; Hallmarked- INTERNATIONAL STERLING 2) Sterling silver bowl, round rim, measures 6” diameter top rim x 3” bottom rim x 2”D & weighs 134 grams; Hallmarked- GORHAM STERLING (lion passant, anchor, scripted G, each in a shield) 1067 and number 3 in shield. 3) Sterling mint julep cup featuring ribbed bands around the top and bottom, measures 3.75”H x 2.75” top rim x 2.25” bottom rim & weighs 124 grams; Hallmarked- pictorial mark of a cross in a crown (Manchester Silver Company); STERLING and number 3759. This item is engraved with the monogram RNG on one side and GDC on other. Pieces are in good vintage condition with wear consistent with age. Notable details include minor surface scratches, light tarnish, small scattered dings and dents in bowl & bread tray. There is a longer dent, approximately 1.5” on one side of the bread tray (see last photo). No major structural damage or deep gouges that compromise the integrity of the silver.
