Vintage 1940's Skirt Suit from Vogue Paris, no marked size (please see measurements for sizing/fit). Blue Wool Boucle fabric with silky acetate + delicate organza fabric lining. This was sourced from a seamstress' estate and is all hand made. Jacket is unique with closures at the far-left side. Two double button+ loop closures. Notch point collar. Three quarter length sleeves. Skirt has a slight A-line flare. Hem hits below the knee. Metal zipper with double hook+ eye closure at left side. In Good condition with small repairs to wool on lower front/ center of skirt, left sleeve, arm hole lining hand repaired, and multiple repairs to VERy delicate organza skirt lining. The organza skirt lining tears easily and I would probably just remove it if I were keeping+ wearing this. There is a section with more sturdy satin acetate fabric, so it's possible the original owner hadn't finished re-lining the skirt. Please inspect and zoom photos to see condition.
