There’s been minimal use and has been carefully cleaned and conditioned. The only wear is on the 4 grommets at the base/bottom of the bag that are pictured.

Yes, it has been at the bottom of my closet. After having some weight put in the bag, I really think it would smooth out. I am sitting in traffic on my way home from work. I will get you pictures of the handles.
