Wax core rollers are able to retain heat for much longer lasting curls. Has been tested with the plug and is still functional working condition. The dot indicator will turn black to indicate when the rollers are ready. Comes in the condition as pictured. The plastic red case that these come in has some visible imperfections/flaws on some of the edges of the lid and some marks/discoloration on the bottom. But everything inside of the case is still in great condition.
