This exact design was featured in the 1972 Butterick "Young Designer" series (see citation at the bottom of this listing). The pantsuit features a peplum jacket w/ coordinating bell bottoms, both in a rich forest-green corduroy. Jacket is tailored w/ puffed shoulders, a defined waist & flared peplum hem. Covered buttons run down the front, while the self-tie belt cinches the waist. The matching pants sit high-waisted & fall into fluid bell bottoms.
