A rare, documented 2-piece pantsuit from Betsey Johnson’s archival tenure at Alley Cat. This exact design was featured in the 1972 Butterick "Young Designer" series (see citation at the bottom of this listing). The pantsuit features a peplum jacket w/ coordinating bell bottoms, both in a rich forest-green corduroy. Jacket is tailored w/ puffed shoulders, a defined waist & flared peplum hem. Covered buttons run down the front, while the self-tie belt cinches the waist. The matching pants sit high-waisted & fall into fluid bell bottoms. This Alley Cat by Betsey Johnson pantsuit is a unique & complete matching ensemble from her Coty Award-winning era.

Hi! Mannequin measurements are: Shoulder 15.75”; Chest 34.6"; Waist 25.6"; Neck 12.5"; Hips 33.8". The garment on the mannequin fits these measurements perfectly with little to no wiggle room. Snug fit. Hope this helps. 💜
