Offering a traditional Mexican embroidered (peasant style/huipil) dress. It has colorful floral embroidery in aqua, orange & green & features a peakcock design in the center. The embroidered peacock and floral design suggests the dress comes from the regions of San Antonino Castillo Velasco or Huautla, within Oaxaca, Mexico. This dress is preowned & in VG condition with no visible staining/defects. It is unmarked without tags; but the crisp white fabric appears to be Cotton with a colorful hand or machine embroidered design. The dress has short sleeves with embroidered trim, a square neckline & a loose fit measuring approx 22” pit to pit with small gathers at the bust-line that provide additional inches. It measures approx 26” at the hips & 46” from shoulder to hem (possibly a 2X?). The vibrant floral/peacock design stands out beautifully against the crisp white background.
