Natural- most likely only surface treated - cut, color etc. for durability and wear. I would think Opal straight from the earth would be a little bit fragile. Gemstone: Natural Ethiopian Fire Opal, fully faceted. Cushion, (slight) honeycomb cut. 2.05ts and approx 12x10mm. **Not a cabochon (flat back) or Triplet/doublet (Glass atop sliced opal with black backing). All good but this is a fully faceted loose stone in 925 setting. Accented by 6 round White Zircon. Stamped: 925, Sterling Silver Size: 7 according to mandrel (not Barbara) Condition: Excellent, Vintage condition. Gentle scuffs. Natural signs of age and time are seen even if only under loupe.
