Rare Vintage 1976 Carolee New York Paris Pearl Cabochon Gold Round Clip Earrings
Exquisite statement earrings created by the jeweler to the Duchess of Windsor.
They feature a round half sphere faux pearl cabochon on yellow gold plated clip earrings with cutout lettering NEW YORK PARIS on medallions.
They measure 1.25" in diameter, are signed on the reverse of the earring and the back of the clips.
They are in excellent vintage condition with very little wear to the gold plating.
These would be a fabulous gift for yourself or a gift for a person taking a trip to Paris or New York.

An architect by training, Carolee Friedlander founded the popular jewelry brand Carolee in 1972. According to Friedlander, she started her business on the kitchen table, creating a necklace of various beads and crystals. First of all, she wanted to create such jewelry and accessories that would force women not only to buy them, but also to collect.
Of note, the first Carolee store opened in Bloomingdale's New York in 1989. In 1995, Carolee launched a joint collection with Ralph Lauren. And the following year, she created the iconic collection of Jewelry Inspired by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and later for the Duchess of Windsor!
