Approximately 12 karats! Stunningly beautiful and impressively large vintage heart shaped genuine amethyst pendant set in rhodium over sterling silver. Comes with 18" NEW 925 sterling silver chain. The pendant was purchased by my parents on a trip to Alaska as a gift for my February birthday. Never got a chance to wear it, but always treasured it. I did purchase this chain to go with it when I planned on selling it. Hoping to find this beautiful piece a new home, where it will get the love it deserves. There is no silver mark on the setting of the amethyst, but I did have it inspected and tested by my jeweler and it did test as sterling silver. Pendant comes in its original gift box.
