This is an old one from my “collection”. A super cozy vintage cardigan that I bought new from an H&M store in Heidelberg, Germany in the winter of 2001/2002 after the airline lost my luggage. (This was before H&M came to the US….and quite frankly, the quality of the clothing was much better then.) I wore her a lot, but she is still in great condition. Some pilling is evident but can easily be de-pilled by hand. The quality of the chunky yarn is substantial and will tolerate de-pilling quite well. A nice chunky knit, big buttons, and a big collar that you can button all the way up to cocoon around your neck. Or leave the collar unbuttoned for a big Peter Pan collar. This is 50% wool, 50% acrylic. It’s quite warm and really very soft. Not scratchy at all! I would recommend it for those who demand soft fibers…so long as you are not allergic to wool. My bust and girth has increased quite a lot with peri-menopause, so this one is a bit small for me with my currently 36” bust, as evident in the pictures. I had a 33-34” bust when I used to wear this. If you have a bust bigger than that, you can opt to wear this unbuttoned partially or fully in front. Listed as a size 36 (European sizing) which is about a Small, but this is vintage so please see actual measurements below for best fit.
