Rare recessed Florentine hand carved green and gold wall plaque. The applied painted circle is what looks to be a trade ship in the distance and a sail boat on the shore. The entire piece is wooden and looks to be hand carved. I estimate the era to be 1920’s to 1940’s. It is stamped ‘Made in Italy’ on the back. Measurements: Height- 7.75” Width- 8” Depth- 1.5” The recessed applied circle painting is recessed 1”
