Stunning vintage purple navette and round aurora borealis rhinestone brooch. The brooch is unsigned. This brooch is layered, with the bottom layer to which the pin is attached is a metal starburst shape, that creates a round halo of aurora borealis finished, faceted round rhinestones that form the outer edge of the brooch. The second layer is a metal wreath, to which navette shaped purple rhinestones are attached at a diagonal slope. The third layer is a metal filigree layer, that encircles the center cluster of rhinestones.The center cluster of rhinestones consists of a center, purple, faceted round rhinestone, haloed by 6 smaller, faceted round, aurora borealis finished rhinestones. This brooch is most likely mid century.
