This detailed southwestern thunderbird pendant is a handcrafted piece of sterling silver jewelry. The large, statement-style pendant features a prominent thunderbird design with intricate feather details etched into the wings and tail. A beautiful large, teardrop-shaped Spiny Oyster stone is set in the center of the thunderbird's body, while a round, turquoise stone, a vibrant green color, is set in the bird's head. The piece is marked "hand made" and "sterling," weighs 14.9 grams, and measures 2.19 inches in length. It is a classic example of Native American jewelry style, often associated with Navajo silversmiths. Approximate measurements are 2.19”L x 1.67”W x .30”D.
