Blue and White Decorative Charger

Antique Japanese blue and white porcelain charger plate. This is imperfect glazing with imperfections photographed. 12 1/4” diameter It features hand-painted floral and bird designs, typical of Japanese Arita ware styles. The pattern is similar to the "Imperial Blue" pattern by Mottahedeh, which was inspired by 17th-century Chinese porcelains. The plate has a decorative, possibly scalloped, border.
