Vintage 50s/60s Dan Berne wool coat with fur trim collar and silk lining

This is a very luxurious coat. Color is black. I am not exactly sure of the outer material. It is very warm. I thought it was wool. When you rub your hand down the fabric one direction it is very soft but then if you go the other direction, it is sort of feels like tiny hairs. Anyone know what this could be? The inside is lining is silk. I believe the fur is mink. The tag says Dan Berne. There is a blue union label tag. Sleeves are 3/4" and fit a little tight at the end of the cuff (at least on me haha). Coat is in very nice condition. I do not see any issues. It has not been cleaned.
