Hi. It says they are new but looks like some damage to the edge of the shoe?

There is no damage. I believe that what you are referring to is the clear plastic that a tag was previously attached. I can add a picture to the listing if that would help.

OK thanks. In photo 11 it looks like the side is frayed, where the rubber base meets the cork lining/sole.
