This amazing vintage pottery vase has been beautifully crafted by Hopi potter Frieda Poleahla (1918-1994). It is 6" tall by about 4.5" across. This piece is signed on the bottom by the artist (her pottery is valued by collectors — One of Frieda's pieces is in the Smithsonian Museum collection). It is a traditional hand-coiled hand-painted vase. There are a few faded wear spots, a small scrape on the side, and a small indentation on the rim. Smoke - free home.
