Wallendorf German Porcelain Vase Orange Dragon Vintage Antique

This is a vintage Wallendorf porcelain vase with a hand-painted gilt-detailed "Ming Dragon" pattern. Classic chinoiserie style featuring a white dragon with gold gilt details against a rich orange-red background. Manufactured in Germany, hand-painted and marked "Made in GDR" with porcelain stamp of "2098/1". This vase was produced in the German Democratic Republic "East Germany", which existed from 1949 to 1990, before German reunification. Measures 7.5" x 5". it is in excellent condition as there is no wearing to the gold gilt, no scratches, cracks or chips. A very small imperfection on the back, just above the design (that appears to be a butterfly or flower) - a small white mark 1/16". One owner. From a non-smoking home.
