Scandinavian Wool Woven Cardigan Sweater by STOBI (Denmark) in blue , navy and cream. This charmer was HANDKNIT in Denmark with unspun Scandinavian wool, which is why it is so fuzzy. It is very fuzzy and the fuzz fluffs up off of it in a way other sweaters don't, I'm guessing due to the nature of it being 'unspun wool' (you can see in video and photos). Embrace the fuzz, it is there to keep you warm, it is pure love. This is real craftsmanship and history in a piece of clothing. I’m not about to attempt any de-fuzzing because I don’t want to compromise the integrity of the wool weave, it is for you to decide if it needs it. It's really warm! The woven wool yarn is thick. The colors are the classic colors you think of when you imagine an 'icelandic' sweater or Swedish folk art. It is joyfully Nordic and can't wait to keep you warm. No size is indicated but flat closed is approx 20" flat across the chest. Length was measured from collar to hem 29” Back side collar to hem also approx 29” Google Ai overview indicates this is US size women's 12-14 or Large It is vintage and has been worn, it's fuzzy and has its character flaws like its missing buttons and tag that is unstitched on one side (shown in photos). There actually is a spare button on the right inner side (pictured). I always imagined replacing it with those cross hatch leather buttons, but it is yours to choose its future, or just wear it open. You're gonna love it instantly though.
