I certainly can understand and empathize with your being upset and hopefully your jeweler will be able to ease your concerns. I didn’t have a reason to check since I had no reason to believe when I purchased them 14 years ago that Macy’s would misrepresent their jewelry.

hallmark26Hi. I wanted to contact you about the earrings I purchased. I had to take them out as my earlobes were crusting. I never thought to check them as they were in the box and I trusted them. I found my jewelers loop and I cannot find 14k anywhere on them. Do you know where the mark is? I will take them to my jewelers on Monday to get them tested. It could possibly be the backs but I do not think so as the holes were really sore all the way to the front. I am pretty upset about this. Thanks.

I honestly would not know where the markings are because I purchased these and I never wore them let alone took them out of the packaging. I purchased them at Macy’s and the receipt, packaging and label indicate that they’re 14 karat gold….
