Lovely 1960s Empoli green glass compote - a stunning vessel of emerald-hued glass that you can use for candy, cotton balls, etc. It is edged in clear blown glass rigaree, and accented with gilt trim, with a romantic scene painted on the top. A true testament to the delicate artistry of Italian glassmaking traditions. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Some gold paint wear is visible.
