FACTS: Anthill Garnet is a rare, vibrant red chromium-pyrope gemstone found in Arizona's Four Corners region, uniquely brought to the surface by ants as they excavate their underground tunnels. These small, high-clarity, and untreated gems (typically 2–6 mm) are collected by hand from ant hill sites, primarily on Navajo Nation land.  Key Facts about Anthill Garnets Origin:  Found in Northeastern Arizona, specifically on the Navajo Reservation. "Mining" Method: Harvester ants dig through subterranean rock, pushing out the small, bright red stones to build their mounds. Color & Clarity: Known for a very intense, fire-engine red to reddish-orange color, often having high clarity and being completely untreated. Size Constraints: Due to the nature of their discovery, they are typically small (usually under 1.00 ct).
