Handmade Quilt Patchwork Blanket, The Velveteen Rabbbit - Easter / Baby Shower

(Happy for offers :-) THE VELVETEEN RABBIT is such a beloved classic, this patchwork quilt bunny blanket makes me smile every time I see it. With the quote, "Once you are real you can't become unreal again. It lasts for always," it's special and a one-of-a-kind. Made by family, by hand and was a gift years ago. That said, it was never used and is in gorgeous condition. The pattern is a gorgeous patchwork puzzle and just the sweetest baby or toddler storybook blanket, very easy to snuggle up with a book and is incredibly LIGHT WEIGHT, being NON-cotton. It's beautifully made but I adore that the lighter weight makes it totally functional and practical for the little one to be able to move around and to gently drape, but again - it's just gorgeous and brings such a smile. TO THE TOUCH - it's got a sheer, almost silky poly feeling to the blend, not a cotton feel at all; super soft and so easy. The back is an all black puzzle type look made so stains won't be a worry. It's so, so snuggly and easy to toss in a diaper or carry bag, and because it's so light it's easy to wash and dry and can be washed and dried on a cool/cold gentle cycle. Stunning in person and a very special item it's lovely to gift at a shower or to family, or simply to pass down to grandbabies as the perfect EASTER present!
