Stunning, vintage Chanel 1990's gold star studded "Les Etoiles" CC logo sunglasses in pristine condition. Rare and highly collectible, with original Chanel hard case. Circa early-mid 1990's. Chanel designed the "Les Etoiles" sunglasses in 2 different styles or silhouettes. The shape of this frame can be best described as a rounded-rectangle with a subtle cat eye. Adored with raised petite gold stars, large signature interlocking CC logo, medium smoke black lenses and curved frame and tips. The lenses are not opaque. You can see through them a little. Crafted in jet black, acrylic-acetate material that is quite substantial and sturdy. The frame resembles a high-end, glossy black lacquer. Incredibly beautiful in person, well taken care of. There are no scratches on the lenses and the black frame looks fantastic. I see just a few tiny scratches on the frame out in the sunlight. I literally had to bring my nose 1 inch near the frame to see them. These sunglasses don't scratch easily for some reason. The glossy exterior coating is strong.
