nrm642 @emelinar @emelinar A silver cloth removed some tarnish, I looked through a loupe. This is what I saw: “Real silver typically tarnishes into a dark gray or black patina over time. If the metal is peeling, flaking, or showing a yellowish/greenish tone underneath, it is likely plated.” Some of these pieces are not marked 925 because of regional differences or silver being thin. That is why I did not claim it to be Sterling in the Title. After doing my diligence I think it is silver-plated.
