Vintage Toni Todd Jacket & Dress in Red White Ticking Stripe

SALE! 1970 era Toni Todd two piece dress and jacket in red white ticking stripe. The dress has a knit tomato red sleeveless top. It has a scoop neckline. The skirt is A-line, but full in bias cut ticking stripe. The dress closes at the back with a red 20" nylon zipper. The jacket is meant to hang loosely. It has a mandarin collar. It closes with 6 red buttons. Buttons also decorate the cuff of the 22" long sleeves. There are side slit pockets in half-moon shape. The back has a yoke and full back. Red top stitching is used throughout to good effect. Toni Todd was an active label until the early '70s when it was purchased by Russ brand. Label indicates this is 100% polyester Size: we could not find size label. The following measurements are approximate. Dress-- Bust 17 1/2" pit to pit; 29" waist; 40" hip; 16" shoulder to waist; 40" long to turn under hem. Jacket_Bust-23" pit to pit; 24" long; 42" waist; 43" lower circumference. Condition: good vintage. Note there are belt loops, but no belt was found. There is a darker discoloration on the right side of the back shoulder, it makes the red seem darker.
