Vintage 50's-60's Shagmoor Trench Coat

Boy oh boy what a fabulous mid-century find! I'm so excited to list this! I wish you could hold it and feel it, its quality through and through. It's a soft leather like material in a beautiful olive green color. It may very well be leather but can't claim that without knowing for sure. Shagmoor made high-end ladies coats 1950's-1970's and the quality of this coat is exceptional. The condition of this coat is exceptional. Double breasted (all buttons intact), decorative only buttons at the cuff, 2 front pockets. All Shagmoor coats are lined with either silk or satin and the lining in this coat appears to be satin. The photos may make you think that the lining is discolored, I have studied it in all sorts of different light and have come to the conclusion that its just the piece of fabric used for the lining. I would describe it as a lightweight coat. It is not sized but can say with a great deal of confidence that it is a medium and would fit like a size 8. It measures shoulder to shoulder across the back at 16", the underarm to underarm measurement, also across the back is 20". The overall length of this coat is 40" measuring from the top shoulder seam. The sleeve length is 23". Note: there is a bit of a "vintage" odor to it, if you choose there are a number of remedies for this. I'm confident you will be impressed with the quality and condition of this Shagmoor coat.
