lhsikel @cestsibon There is almost no spacing between the stones. To the best of my knowledge it appears to be a wire that is somehow knotted and tied at the ends. I can attach a picture

cestsibon @lhsikel Thanks much. I’m asking because I bought one but it was strung on wire and just doesn’t lay nice and flat. This one looks really pretty with good quality stones
