This is a vintage Japanese porcelain horse and carriage lamp base, often referred to as a "Cinderella" or stagecoach lamp. It features Satsuma-style moriage (raised enamel) decoration and is typically dated to the 1940s or 1950s. It has been cleaned and reconditioned with a new socket and cord.
