Opulent Vintage American Navajo Sterling and Carico Lake Turquoise. Hand made.

This item is a vintage Signed Navajo cuff bracelet crafted from sterling silver and featuring a central turquoise stone surrounded by hand-twisted rope work and embellished with sterling silver leaf designs. • Material: Sterling silver and natural turquoise stone. • Style: Traditional Navajo (Native American) silversmithing. • Details: Features prominent stamped silver leaves and a textured rope bezel around the turquoise. • Significance: Handmade artisanal Southwestern jewelry. It is signed, but it’s hard to make out the hallmark. If you know much about Native American art, you might be able to figure out who the artist is. In my research I’m guessing it’s from the 1960’s. And Bear might be in the artists name. The turquoise is American Navajo Carico lake. The call outs. It has some dents in the silver. I am sure a silversmith could get them out if you are concerned about them. I think it helps tell the story of this piece. It’s probably seen some action in its day. It weighs 1.675 oz’s or 47.4 grams. The silver alone is valuable and will only become more valuable in the near future. You can see very clearly in the pictures, the silver and the condition.
