Peter Muller Carved Gemstone Sculpture, From Brazil, Exquisite, 2003

Exquisite sculpture by Peter Muller of two birds, Macaws, perched on a large piece of rutilated quartz. The birds carved of various quartz gems and of pale blue quartz that was carefully unearthed in Brazil and meticulously hand carved. Purchased in Brasil at the famous HStern jewelry store in 2003. Excellent condition, displayed in a glass case all this time. Truly fabulous piece of art. Measures 10" tall, approx 5" wide. Weighty, solid, signed on the bottom of each clawed foot. The birds remove from small holes in the base.
