Vintage 1930's-40's Mexico Silver Seahorse Brooch Beautiful and immaculately detailed Sterling Silver Seahorse Brooch. Her appearance is even more impressive when her age is taken into consideration. Pre Eagle, stamped Mexico Silver, and the clasp is a HUGE giveaway that this little honey used their sun screen and stayed in the shade. This type of C Clasp and hinge on Mexico pieces was used in the 30's to 40's. Yeah, this little horsey is getting close to 100. Just about Antique, but not quite yet. Beautiful craftsmanship that I really don't feel one finds often in modern day pieces. It's in amazing shape, though sadly previous owner cleaned em up. It will eventually build back up what I'm sure will be a gorgeous patina. Really, a lovely addition to anyone who fancies brooches.
