Twice a week, Poshmark offers reduced shipping to sellers who lower their listings by 10% (or more). As a shopper, you will be notified of any liked item that has been lowered by 10% but remains over $10. Once received, you have 6 hours to purchase and discounted shipping will be applied in your cart. Poshmark takes 20% of the selling price for items over $15 — so for your seller, extra shipping offers often cut another 10% or more of their profit. However, on CCO days, the shipping reduction is paid for by Poshmark. Fee explanation: For sales under $15, Poshmark charges a flat $2.95 fee. For items $15 and over, Poshmark keeps 20% of the sale price. The remaining amount is what the seller earns. Example earnings: • If an item sells for $14, Poshmark takes $2.95, and the seller earns $11.05. • If an item sells for $25, Poshmark takes 20% ($5.00), and the seller earns $20.00 Giving a shopper a shipping discount would take another $1.50 -or $6.49 from the total. So taking advantage of CCO realllllly helps the seller AND the buyer!! INSIDER TIP: if there’s something that you have been eyeing go ahead and message the seller and ask if they are willing to come down on the price - that way you a better deal AND be able to take advantage of that shipping discount before all the other likers do!
