True vintage reversible pleated skirt purchased and worn by my mother around 1955 when she was 15 years old. This is a single-owner mid-century piece — not reproduction. Last professionally dry cleaned in 1989 (original Barrie dry-clean receipt included) and carefully stored since. Classic 1950s silhouette with structured pleats and beautiful blue, cream, and grey plaid with fine red line detailing. Reversible construction offers two looks in one. Lighter color blues on one side and darker color blues on the other. ➡️Fabric tag not present (typical for 1950s garments). Based on texture and structure, it appears to be a midweight wool or wool-blend suiting fabric with slight natural texture. ➡️Original waist button included. Two additional waist buttons are missing but can easily be replaced. Measurements: Waist: 12” flat (24” total) Length: approx. 25–26” Excellent structure and fabric integrity for its age.
