alexandro fratelli white velvet and gold lamé smoking jacket blazer. made by a designer in paris, france. marked a size 52 with measurements as follows: 22” across the chest from one underarm seam to the other, 28” long, 27” sleeves, 18” across the shoulders. i think this was originally cut to become a double breasted closure but for whatever reason, it was not finished. currently, the front is open. there are small, faint pencil marks where the buttons were supposed to go but i have not tried to clean those (please see the second to last photo). also, there is a small 1/2” tear near the left inside cuff (please see the last photo). maybe the tear was the reason the jacket was never completed? double back vents. two front pockets. two interior pockets. monogrammed buttons and safety pins. the gold lamé lined collar has a touch of teal in it. this jacket would be the perfect “his and hers” or “his and his” or “hers and hers” complement to another i have by the same designer that you can find in my listings. a really striking, original item. new, never worn.
