The width measurements dosen't indicate a mini bag it's a littlelonger than a ruler.

The measurements are what longchamp the brand considers mini or small. It’s large enough to hold a bottle of water but not big enough to hold a laptop computer. I hope those comparisons help you decide.

Apparently this bag is different from bags displayed on their website. They now have much smaller bags in their new, current line of Le Pliage bags. My silver bag - The top (zipper) part is 12.75 inches. So it would be considered small. I hope this helps.
