Celadon is a type of Chinese ceramics and porcelain, of feldspathic enamel (the enamel is applied to give color and texture), with colors ranging from olive green, through light or dark green, and has nuances ranging from yellow to blue. It is these colors and the enameled surface (an innovation, 3,500 years ago) that are responsible for the magic of these pieces.
