Patrick Siler's work has been featured in museums across the country, including the American Craft Museum in New York City, Seattle Art Museum, and the Smithsonian.
Although Siler has a masters degree in painting from Berkeley, he studied pottery at WSU and earned a bachelor's degree, and later became a professor at WSU. His art styles has varied across the decades.
Siler was born in Spokane and grew up in Tacoma. His art has a big following in the Pacific Northwest.
This piece is from his time at Washington State University in the 70s. The bowl is 10 inches across and 5½ tall.
