Complete "Bamboo Bali" Casserole from Everlast. Made of forged aluminum with a brushed surface, it features a mid century Asian vibe that was all the rage after World War II. Everlast started manufacturing this piece as part of their Bamboo Bali set starting in 1948 and kept making it through 1959. I included a photo of their catalog from the 1948-49 line that features this same casserole. The openings in the lid to accommodate the handles are smaller on this one than on other models. Notice that the aluminum is brushed and not shiny. The original piece is also brushed. I did not scrub or polish this item as to not rid it of its original finish. This also includes the PYREX insert. Notice the smaller handles on this set, which would indicate an earlier manufacture than the sets made with the wider handles. No chips or cracks on the PYREX. While the PYREX insert is microwave/oven/dishwasher safe, the aluminum parts are not. Please see all photos for condition. Shipped via USPS.
