This item is a vintage German majolica plate, hand-painted and featuring a dandelion design with a turquoise or cornflower blue glaze.
Manufacturer: Likely produced by G.S. Zell in Baden, Germany, or JB&W.
Era: Dating to the early 1900s, specifically around 1910.
Features: Raised relief design (thistle/dandelion) with a shiny glaze.
Dimensions: 11 1/4 inch
This is a beautiful plate and it has been well loved and is worn. The glaze & paint is worn off on the raised pattern from the yellow dandelion flower, down to areas of the dandelion greenery and worn on edges. Please look at photos to make sure that you are okay with that. It does not have any cracks only wear off of glaze & paint in areas as shown. And it is priced accordingly.
